Larkin Gallery is pleased to present several sculptures from the Bud Hambleton Collection. Hambleton initially ran a steel and brass cutting company after returning from World War II (where he earned a Bronze Star). This industrial background gave him a unique mastery over welding tools. He studied sculpture under professor William Ehrich at the University of Rochester before committing to his art practice full-time in the 1960s. Hambleton also worked in bronze and clay, creating both representational and abstract forms.
