Call for Art: A Different Dimension
Larkin Gallery Harwich Port invites artists to participate in our Open Call Juried Exhibit, A DIFFERENT DIMENSION.
Art, as we understand the term, is at once personal and universal. It’s often too easy for artists to stay in their lanes with work, that closely parallels their personal narratives, their comfort zones. The challenge that we present with A DIFFERENT DIMENSION is for the artist to blaze a new trail to expand their minds – and ours, their talents, and abilities, to create a work of art that represents a parting from those comfort zones thus expanding their universe allowing the viewer to discover, along with the artist, a new dimension of the artist’s sensibility.
There is no fee to enter. Selections will be based on artistic and creative quality, interpretation of the theme and space allotment.
Retail price assumes a typical 50% gallery commission. All media will be considered, including sculpture. This is a retail gallery therefore all work must be for sale.
You may submit up to THREE high resolution jpeg images of your work for consideration (labeled with its title, size and medium) and with any questions to:

Along with the images, please INCLUDE the following in the body of the e-mail:
1. Your name
2. The title, size, medium & support (canvas, board, stone, wood, paper, etc.) of each piece
3. The retail price of each piece
Larkin Gallery Harwich Port is continuing the tradition of its former sister gallery, Post Office Gallery in North Truro, Massachusetts, where annual open call themed art exhibits were held with joy and success.
Larkin Gallery Harwich Port is located at Main and Bank Streets in the Massachusetts designated Cultural District of Harwich Port.
Larkin Gallery Provincetown is located at 405 Commercial Street in Provincetown's cultural East End.
The exhibit A Different Dimension will be held exclusively in Harwich Port.
Drop off times and gallery hours will be announced in the acceptance
notification.
