Rebecca Gmucs
Rebecca Gmucs is an painter who loves to paint Cape Cod and just about anything else. She began as a print maker and has also worked with textiles.
In her painting, she experiments readily to challenge herself and grow. In this instance she uses past experience as a printmaker to achieve the printerly form in her work, yet has experimented and developed her figurative skills.
Gmuc's works in oil explore the landscape and the horizon in a simplified, almost printerly form and yet in her identifiable brushwork.
