Rebecca Gmucs is an oil painter who loves to paint Cape Cod and just about anything else. She began as a print maker and has also worked with textiles.

In her painting, she experiments readily to challenge herself and grow. In this instance she uses past experience as a printmaker to achieve the printerly form in her work, yet has experimented and developed her figurative skills and particularly, the horizons of Cape Cod..

Gmuc's works in oil explore the landscape and the horizon in a simplified, almost printerly form and yet in her identifiable brushwork.
